Terms of service
Last updated: 11 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and OmgSecure (“we”, “us”) for using the OmgSecure app at app.omgsecure.com. By creating an account or paying for the service, you agree to them. If you use OmgSecure for an organization, you confirm you can agree on its behalf.
The service
OmgSecure checks the public records and mail servers of the domains you add, receives the DMARC and TLS reports you route to it, and shows you scores, alerts and recommended fixes. It reads and reports; it never changes your DNS or your mail setup. Recommendations are guidance, and you decide what to apply.
Your account
You sign in with your email address and a one-time code or passkey. Keep access to that mailbox and device secure; anything done from your account is your responsibility. The owner of an organization controls who is a member and what role they have.
Domains you add
Only add domains you own or are authorized to monitor. Scans read public information about a domain and connect to its mail servers the way any sender does. Don’t use OmgSecure to probe, map or harass infrastructure that isn’t yours.
Acceptable use
Don’t:
- break the law, or anyone else’s rights, using the service;
- try to get into another organization’s data, or test our security without our written permission;
- overload the service, get around its limits, or automate it beyond normal use of the app;
- send us mail, reports or files that contain malware or that you have no right to send;
- resell the service without our agreement.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.
Plan and payment
- The plan costs $12 a year and includes every check and five domains per organization. Extra domains come in packs of five for $6 a year each, up to fifty domains in all. Taxes are added where they apply.
- Payment is taken by Stripe when you subscribe and each year after, until you cancel. Adding a pack mid-year is charged pro rata straight away.
- You can cancel any time from Billing in the app. Your plan keeps running until the end of the year you paid for and then stops; it does not renew. We do not refund the unused part of a year unless the law requires it.
- We may change the price for future years. We will tell account owners at least 30 days before a renewal at a new price, and you can cancel before it applies.
Your data
Your data stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you, as described in our privacy policy. When you close your account, we delete your data on request, apart from what the law requires us to keep.
Our service
We work to keep OmgSecure accurate and available, but the internet changes constantly, and a scan reflects what we could see when it ran. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that it finds every problem or that following a recommendation prevents every attack.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may end the service for you if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we stop offering OmgSecure, in which case we will give you reasonable notice and refund any prepaid time you can no longer use.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for changes that affect your rights we will email account owners at least 30 days before they apply. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
